**Valley Fort Summer Camps and Development Programmes**
**REGISTRATION OPENS FRIDAY 28th MAY @ 10AM**

**ALL CAMP DETAILS WILL BE PUBLISHED TOMORROW WHEN REGISTRATION OPENS**

We have 5 awesome weeks of Minis Development Camps and Youth Development Programmes lined up to fill player’s holidays with excitement and continue their rugby development. We are open to all, welcoming Valley Fort players and players who are not currently registered with us.

We have incredible Societe Generale Valley RFC coaches lined up (scroll down for a sneak preview with more exciting lines up’s to be announced)  to run the summer programme along with the support of our new Director of Rugby Justin Carroll.  The coaches have been selected to ensure we have all areas covered when it comes to specialisation, with top-class professionals each with strengths to transfer to the younger generation.

U5 – U12 Minis Development Camps……

The VF Minis development camps will have a real focus on learning through games and fun with specialised skill sessions along the way. The emphasis of the camp will be on developing core rugby skills, along with promoting key fundamentals such as hand-eye coordination, communication, teamwork and problem-solving. There will be a wellness day on Wednesday where we will step away from the pitch and instead have a multi sports beach day at Repulse Bay.

U13 – U16 Youth Development Programmes……

Our Youth development programmes have a bigger emphasis on the development of skills and preparing our young athletes for the future of rugby. This will give the players a broader understanding of perhaps what it takes to make it to the next level. Programmed strength and conditioning sessions will be explained and the importance of fitness components such as speed, power and agility. The main chunk of our sessions will focus on core rugby skills, exploring themes and principles of rugby such as attack and defence, along with Players undergoing clinics for position-specific skills such as kicking, passing and setpiece. Wednesday will involve a wellness day at Repulse Bay, with a multi sport element and a rest and recovery theme. Yoga instructors and fun all included.
