We are excited to announce the arrival (and nearly out of quarantine) of our new Director Rugby, all the way from Australia! Pictured below in quarantine but he will be out soon and eager to get started pitch side. Justin brings vast experience in Minis and Youth rugby programmes and has been catching up with all our parent and Societe Generale Valley RFC pro coaches whilst in quarantine (Zoom of course!). When you see him, please say hi and introduce yourself…….especially at the upcoming summer camps (dates to be released next week).
A quick background on Justin:
Background
- Grew up and was schooled in Brisbane Queensland where he attended the famous Rugby Nursery Nudgee College.
- Following school he attended Queensland University of Technology and gained a Bachelor of Education in Humanities and Physical Education.
- Played Rugby at School and then Youth and Grade before injuries took their toll and became interested in coaching.

- The next 27 years taught at a variety of schools around Queensland with roles in Sport or Rugby.
- 9 Years Head of Sport at Villanova College (Ben Mowens)
- 4 Years as Director of Rugby at Ipswich Grammar (Berrick Barnes)
- 4 Years Director of Rugby at Brisbane Grammar (Fraser McReight)
- In 2014 moved to Melbourne where I gained employment as Head of Rugby at Marcellin College but also as Manager of Coach Education for Rugby Victoria

- World Rugby Master Trainer Accreditation.
