# Welcome to U10 Boys!

Welcome to the U10 Boys team! All players eligible for this age group should have been born in 2010.

The U10 Boys team is managed and led by parents Matt Moskey and Steve Glynn. Rugby coaching and skill development is run by our Valley SocGen RFC professional player, Andrew Bridle. They are all well supported by a core group of parent volunteer coaches. Click on the coaches bio’s below to find out more about Matt, Steve and Bridle!

The U10 Boys team trains from September 2019 to April 2020 for the 2019/20 season. They typically train every Sunday morning at Aberdeen Sports Ground on the Southside unless there is a Minis Rugby Festival or it is a key holiday period.  You can find the detailed training and Minis Rugby Festival schedules below but always check the Valley Fort App for the latest information!

Matt MOSKEY
Matt MOSKEY U10 Co Head Coach

While my rugby career stalled following University I have endeavored to pass on his love of the game to the Hong Kong Minis.  I have been a coach with Valley Fort since my oldest started U5s in 2012 and Head Coach with my youngest for the last 4.  Valley Fort rugby is not just sport but community.  We are inclusive and accepting and we take all skill / experience levels so please bring your boy to Valley so he can make friends while playing God's game!

Steve GLYNN
Steve GLYNN U10 Co Head Coach

I've been coaching at Valley for last 6 years, and now have sons playing U12 and U10, and a daughter in U7, so my coaching has benefited from plenty of “constructive criticism”…. Along with Matt,  I've been running this age group since they were U6, and have really enjoyed seeing them grow as individuals and as a group. During that time both the coaches and the kids have developed and learned new skills, and many great friendships have been forged. More than anything, we want the kids to enjoy themselves and to learn the values that make rugby unique: sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, respect.
