I have been part of Valley Fort mini rugby since 2015, shortly after my arrival in Hong Kong. First it was Felix who is now in the U13s, my daughter Ella is now a proud member of the U12 girls and is followed by Otto entering into the U8s. My wife Camilla is the Worthington team manager, rugby happily dominating our Sundays! Originally from the UK, we consider Hong Kong our home and the Valley Fort family are an important part of our collective family experience and education here in Hong Kong. Team sports have always been important to me, both on and off the pitch. I grew up in a traditional rugby playing boarding school in North Yorkshire and team sports continued to play an important part in daily life in my near decade serving in the British Army. Rugby has taught me the values of team work, camaraderie, sportsmanship and leadership; coupled with a lot of fun, these are what we will be focusing on at Valley Fort in the U13 season to come!

Elden Schoeman, is a South African centre with Currie Cup and super sport challenge experience. He also had a stint in the Polish Ekstraliga and played International 10s all over the world. Looking forward to representing Societe Generale Valley RFC this year. He also holds a level 1 World Rugby Coaching accreditation.
