Navesh PERUMAL U14 Parent Team Manager

Rugby was a huge part of my youth in Australia where I played school and club league and union and formed many lifelong relationships. After many years of travel and work with my wife Janet and kids Samara and Jadon through Australia, the Middle east, Asia and the US rugby has been a part of our lives in some way or another. Janet encouraged (enrolled) me and I started coaching youth mini and youth rugby with my son Jadon at Centaurs Rugby Singapore from 2012 to 2017, where I managed a team of 12 coaches and groups of 60+ kids each year, coordinating training and programs with the other clubs in Singapore. The family relocated to Boston MA in 2017 where I found the Irish Wolfhounds and a team to coach. With a bit of luck, a heap of hard work I setup Centaurs Rugby ( a NFP club) for youth in 2018 where we found a space to offer rugby to 100 new kids through its program in the first year, making rugby accessible and fun was the goal. In 2019 I took on a managing role for the MYRO (Mass youth rugby organisation) coordinating, growing and building momentum for the youth structure before our arrival in Hong Kong mid 2020. I feel blessed my son Jadon chose Valley and in the past year have seen outstanding management, coaching, supportive parents and dedicated kids all enjoying the game with the culture and values I have come to expect in Rugby. I love what rugby teaches and blessed to have been a part of so many lives. I am thankful for the opportunity and excited to be a part of the team and to support the kids, coaches, management and community. Simon has definitely left a legacy and something to aspire to.
