Adam arrived in Hong Kong with his wife and two children in 2017. Adam and his son, Nate, joined Valley Fort for his first season of rugby in the U5's. Having coached one of the U5 teams during that first season, Adam stepped up into the Co-Head Coach role, alongside Robin, for the 2018 season with the U6's and, as they say, "the rest his history"! Adam says "Valley Fort has been a brilliant introduction for my son. The environment and support, both for the children and coaches, is second to none in terms of mini rugby. This is no better represented to me every Sunday when Nate drags me to the car for the next training session or more excitedly if its tournament day! Rugby is a game that I have played and loved for most of my life and as such being able to be a small part of making rugby fun and exciting for the next generations is a brilliant experience."
Robin and his wife Alex have two children at Valley Fort. Freddie who plays in the U8 team and his sister, Ella, who is in U5's this year! Robin is responsible for the strategy and management of the Asian operations of Capricorn Capital, specifically its Private Equity activities. Previously he was head of the Private Capital Markets business of Macquarie Capital in Hong Kong and is a CFA Charterholder.
